On January 31, Mr Xavier Bettel, Minister for Cooperation and Humanitarian Action, and Mrs Magali Getrey, President and Founder of PADEM, signed a new and third Framework Agreement between PADEM and the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs. Mrs Getrey was accompanied by two new PADEM company administrators, Mrs Bellini and Mrs Noirjean.

27 new projects in 9 countries (Bolivia, Peru, Kenya, Madagascar, Senegal, Kosovo, India, Mongolia, Sri Lanka) on 4 continents will be implemented over periods of 2 to 5 years. PADEM and its local partners will focus on access to education, health, water and sanitation, housing improvement, economic development, combating the effects of climate change, food security and child protection.

Emphasis will also be placed on building partners’ capacities so that they become self-sufficient by the end of the projects, and then can continue to serve the fundamental rights of beneficiaries, with the strictest respect for their culture.
