Model | The goal tree is a graphical presentation that describes the nesting and architecture of a project’s goals. It establishes a precise framework for the execution of the project. The general objective is divided into specific objectives several times until reaching an operational level. These objectives can be quantitative as well as qualitative. Navigating the tree hierarchy is rich in meaning. Going down the tree, the specific objectives show how the higher objective will be achieved. By navigating in the opposite direction – that is to say by going up in the tree – it is easy to understand the purpose of each specific objective. |
