Kibera Girls Soccer Academy (KGSA)

NGO presentation :

Kibera Girls Soccer Academy (KGSA), originally a women’s soccer club, set up in 2006 to provide free secondary education for girls from Kibera, one of the largest slums in Nairobi, Kenya. Thanks to its holistic approach, the school not only provides academic education, but also boarding facilities, a nutrition program, health care, extracurricular activities (including sport and art) and leadership mentoring. It also supports graduates through scholarships and professional opportunities, enabling them to break the cycle of poverty and build a better future. KGSA’s goal is to empower these young girls by providing them with the tools and support they need to realize their full potential.
