MENCAFEP
NGO presentation :
MENCAFEP was founded in 1988 to support children with disabilities and their families in Sri Lanka. Victims of cultural beliefs linked to disability, children with disabilities are very vulnerable to abandonment and stigmatization. By providing educational and therapeutic care for these children, and raising awareness among families and the general public, MENCAFEP helps them to regain their rightful place in society. The association has two special education and therapeutic centers in Sri Lanka, as well as several units in less accessible areas.
