Education in sustainable development and awareness-raising

PADEM is looking for a Sustainable Development Education and Awareness Manager for long-term assignments.
After training in our project policy and NGO ethics, you will be required to :

  • Run educational workshops in Luxembourgish-language high schools in the Grand Duchy
  • Organize these workshops: dates, schedules, pedagogical content, logistics, in conjunction with teachers and class regents.
  • Present PADEM, its projects and specific themes to the general public (excision, child labor, water…) during special evenings or events.
  • Intervene on these same themes in the media (newspapers, radio, TV…) and social networks (digital campaign)
  • Train municipal staff and teachers in these themes, with the aim of passing on the values acquired to children in the maisons relais and maisons des jeunes, and to schoolchildren.
  • Organize traveling photo exhibits, film debates, create films, posters, etc. on World Youth Day
  • Help organize international meetings between local PADEM partners (India, Sri Lanka, Senegal, Bolivia, etc.) and Grand Duchy high school students
  • Occasionally set up an information/awareness booth at trade shows, fairs, event days, etc.

Requirements :

  • Languages: Luxembourgish essential, other languages (French, German, English) an asset.
  • Long-term commitment required, even for one-off events.
  • You will be trained in our activities beforehand.
