A five-year consortium programme

The PADEM team is delighted to announce the signing of a Global Citizenship Education (GCE) project with the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs: “Committed and United: Together for Equality and Inclusion”.

Running until December 2030, the programme will be delivered as part of a consortium with Handicap International Luxembourg and Chrëschte mam Sahel (Christiens pour le Sahel), focusing on three objectives:

Changing knowledge, perceptions and behaviours → Strengthening the capacity of the population in Luxembourg to identify, challenge and change the beliefs, perceptions and behaviours that fuel inequalities and discrimination, particularly those leading to situations of vulnerability or disability.

Strengthening an environment conducive to engagement → Contributing to a society that encourages and values engagement towards an inclusive and supportive world, where the dignity and fundamental rights of all people are guaranteed.

Citizen engagement and influence → Supporting individual and collective engagement to combat discrimination and influence public policy in favour of a more equal, inclusive and supportive world.

We would like to extend our warmest thanks to the Luxembourg Ministry of Foreign Affairs and European Affairs (MAEE) for its trust, as well as to our consortium partners. We look forward to working with civil society to develop concrete and sustainable initiatives to advance equality and inclusion.
